Howdy, Here today I've got an image of the Leopard install DVD. But the nice thing about it is that its a sparse image, so you can burn and use it without needing a Dual Layer burner or Dual Layer DVD. This image will successfully burn onto a standard DVD using a standard DVD Burner. The only down side is that the only program that can properly burn a sparse image is Mac's Disk Utility built into the OS. So the only way you can burn this DVD is if you already have a working Mac. Any mac OS 10.1 and up will have the Disk Utility program of which I speak located in the Utilities folder in the Application folder. - TehKeyMaster -
Ooooh ... .I can feel myself wanting to buy a Mac ...
I'll never be able to save any money

They are worth it. Save for the MacBook Pro man. theys good.
Sorry man it doesnt work that way. The live cd that leopard installs from makes sure that the hardware its running on has the correct EFI and firmware, this version wont run on just any intel machine.
Please seed this. Many of us are stalled.
I can only upload so much at a time you see, as any person is limited by their connection. currently their is me, the only seed, and 294 of you, i'm uploading full speed as often as I can.

Yes it can. Blue tooth for macbook pro has been removed, languages you would never use, and some obscure printer drivers that you can just download from the printer makers official site if you ever needed them.
Plus it helps that this is a unix .sparseimage rather than a ful .dmg or .iso
tnx for the share TehKeyMaster. this is still considered the retail version, right? coz if ur familiar w/ boot-132, i'm planning to use this w/ it. ;) hopefully successful downloaders will soon swarm as seeders.

DVD refused to boot in a PB G4. Useless in that situation. Can anybody help? Thanks
It's also not booting for my G5 (PPC). Is this by chance, Intel only?
I apologize. My intensions here are only to bring you the highest quality torrents I can supply. At this I have failed for this torrent. Included with this torrent are the wrong set of instructions. Here are the correct ones. And yes it does work, it just takes a long time to boot into the live session for installation.
1. Goto Applications>Utility>Disk Utility
2. Insert a DVD-R into your burner
3. Drag Boot.sparseimage to the blank white area on the left of the Disk Utility Manager
4. Highlight the .sparseimage
5. Click on Burn at the top of the Manager
6. Insert a blank Single Layer DVD
7. Click burn
8. Once the Burn finishes Leave the DVD in the Computer
9. Reboot the Computer holding the option/alt button
10. Select The DVD in the Boot loader
11. Be patient for it to boot into the Installer
12. Then from there just follow the Installer Wizard.

I have the same problem as rvpigeon and ebeyer! If anyone succeeded with the installation please share the secret trick with us. I have tried to uncheck printerdrivers and all languages without success...

I got it to install. You really have to uncheck everything: extra languages, all printer drivers, and x11.
The problem i'm having now is that software update doesn't work. And none of the update installers from the apple site work. So this is pretty much useless... unless someone has a suggestion

Sorry, I'm new at this. I downloaded these files on a PC Vista (utorrent) and there was not ZIP file, just the directory with the three files. I copied them to a Mac running Tiger and burned the disc per instructions. However, the disc will not boot. The instructions say to Unzip on a mac. Could this be the problem? If so, did I miss something when downloading? Was there a ZIP that I never saw?
Frustrated,
ache

I think you can patch the image and burn the ISO with Nero.

WOW THANKS so much - you saved me an extra step in getting BOOT-132 Setup - finding a dual-layer burner and disk to burn with!!
Works fine,
IMAC G5 PPC, 1.8 . No dvd burner, rom drive does not read DL Disk.
Used this image with osx 10.4. with partioned hdd.
restored to to unused partitioned then through start up disk. booted from new partition.
Ok Now works fine.
I Need help.
Much of the components were removed so it could fit on 4,3 dvd.
How do we add all the features that were removed. I'm a noob to Mac.
thanks, any help would be appreciated.
If anyone needs help here i would be happy to assist.
